Restorative Circles
In a world of division and separation, restorative circles are a powerful practice of coming together. Circles are an ancient practice that creates a container where everyone’s voice can be heard and valued, fostering connection and belonging within and without. Through the circle, we can remember and experience our oneness as human beings. Restorative circles are structured group discussions designed to foster understanding, healing, and accountability among participants. They emphasize the importance of relationships and community. Participants sit in a circle, usually with a talking piece that allows only the holder to speak, ensuring everyone has an equal voice.
Queens Healing Circle
The Queens Healing Circle is a monthly gathering that provides a safe space for black women to heal, find community, and grow. The road to healing seems long and hard, but walking that road with others supporting and cheering you on makes it easier.
Bring Restorative Circles to Your Organization
At Spectrum New Beginnings, we are committed to fostering healing, connection, and community growth. Our Restorative Circles provide a safe and inclusive space for open dialogue, conflict resolution, and relationship-building. Through guided conversations, participants are encouraged to share their experiences, listen with empathy, and work toward understanding and reconciliation. Rooted in respect, accountability, and mutual support, these circles empower individuals and communities to heal, strengthen bonds, and move forward together.
