Our Executive Director, Taylor Johnson, Featured in The Dayton Daily Newspaper

At Spectrum New Beginnings, we believe in a world where wellness and healing are accessible. This belief is deeply rooted in the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., whose vision of a just and equitable society continues to inspire us.

Our Executive Director, Taylor Johnson, recently shared her thoughts on how Dr. King might view the world today. While acknowledging the ongoing challenges of racism and inequality, Taylor emphasizes the significant progress made since Dr. King's time.

CIF Program Support Fuels Spectrum New Beginnings' Growth

Spectrum New Beginnings is excited to be featured in a recent article highlighting the impact of CIF Funding support on our capacity building.

This funding has enabled us to:

  • Expand our programs: Self-Care Saturdays, Woman-to-Woman Circles, Youth Cope Program

  • Strengthen our organization: New board, hired accountant, key partnerships

  • Serve the community: Provide free programs and build a stronger, healthier Northwest Dayton.

We are grateful for the opportunity to empower individuals and build a more resilient community through mindfulness and wellness practices.
